Multi language problems

I've got a problem with the use of Multi Language
within Navision reports.

I've made an invoice-report that uses the windows languages
Dutch and English.

Users that have got all permissions (super users) have no problems with printing this report in both languages.

Other users (with limited permissions) can't print this report
in both languages;
'Your license doesn't permit the use of language ...'

This is very strange cause the license does support
multi language and Super Users can print this report.

I've contacted Navision Holland but they don't seem
to have a solution so you guys are my only hope!

    Hi,

    To use mulitlanguage in reports, you must have the granule 4020 in the license file, and of course the users also must have permission to run this granule.

    Please note that this ONLY gives you permission to run several languages on objects of type Report.

    Hi there,

    I've got granule 4020 in my license.

    But how/where do I give the users the permission to run
    this granule?

    Sorry, not the actual granule. You need to give the users permission to run the objects that are contained in the granule

    Users who have all system rights (System = 0) can run the
    report.

    Other users can't run the report...

    Hello,

    I think you are using a 2.01a version. I spent half a day a few months ago to understand following : if you give the rights on System 0, it's OK. If you give the rights on all System rights (one by one), you run into the same problem...
    Here's what you can you can read in Navision's Changes201B.DOC :

    ================================================
    P56) Only Super User Could Change Language

    Error:
    Only members of security group SUPER could use the Multilanguage functionality to change the application language.

    This has been corrected

    Correction:
    Permission to change languages now depends only on the permissions granted in the license file. No additional security setup is needed in the database.
    ================================================================

    It's no-use struggling, 2.01B is needed or you give authorizations on System 0 which is very dangerous.

    I'm sorry, I only used the MultiLanguage functionality once with 2.01a. The customer still uses the 2.01a... I had another customer for which we started on a 2.01B and it works fine. To be sure, I just made the test again, it's OK. Did you upgrade properly from 2.01a to 2.01b ?
