The backup file which came from this server just contains compay data without objects .When I tried to restore it there is a pop error message from SQL server 2003 and it showed me that "The following SQL Server error(s) occurred while accesing the Payment Terms table:15333,"42000",[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]error: The qualified @oldname refrences a database(XXX) other than the current database.",
Any idear,please kindly let me know.

Make sure the database Name you've selected is in correct CASE.
Instead of typing it, do a lookup and select the database when you login into navision.0 -
Thank you very much ara3n!
But I do select the database and the company when I login. It seems that the same error will also pop up when I change a company name in the database! Have you encountered this one!
Thanls &Good Luck,0 -
Make sure the Server name, and database in the same case. When you rename company, the database name is case sensetive.
Go to file->database->Open.
Hit F6 on server name and select your server.
Type your login and password.
Lookup on Database Name and select your database.
Then click ok. Now restore your db.
mydatabase is not the same as MyDatabase.0 -
