Hello Experts,
In our Nav 4.0 we have a list of all reports which can be modified between the range 50001 to 50099 apart from other already existing reports.
When we try to create a new report say with id 50101, the program does not accept the id as it is out of range.
Since all ids have already been used between 50001 to 50099, we cannot create any new reports.
How do we extend the range? Say we want to to run up to 52000, how to proceed?
thanks & Rgds

Also using a third party program like Cyrstal Reports, Jet Reports, Etc allows you to create unlimited reports.

$20 for one report or $800 for a block of 100 report.
If you buy another block its range will be 50100-50199
You do still have one report available to use
report number 50000 sounds like you didn't use that one.
Standard CR is only $195 & professional $495 in which you can create unlimited reports.
I wonder why such a high price :-k
Maybe if it was $1 I would understand It's not like they are creating the report too. They are just giving you more #'s to use.
That's how I feel & I'm sticking with it 8-[

the report designer license only cost $800 and it comes with the first 100 reports range 50000 - 50099
Then they want another $800 just for additional reports.

In the end its important to look at total cost of owner ship.
What customer like though is that they want to pay upfront instead of later.

Yes, but the customer also does not want to pay for something they don't need. Something they may want now probably didn't even cross their minds a while back.
Very few client installations require addition block of 100 reports other than the one provided by the report designer.
If the customer is complex enough to require an additional block of 100 reports, from my experience, they don't complain about a measily $800. In fact, they think it's cheap!
