Warehouse picking/put away/bins/zones not needed

We have a customer that uses warehouse with "Require receive/shipment/put away/Pick","Bin Mandatory","Directed Put-away and pick" for 1 location.
Also zones are used.
Now they want to use an external warehousing program that takes care of bins, zones put away and pick for that location. So in Navisison only warehouse shipments and receipts are made, these are send in the other program and the other program sends responses so Navision can post the warehouse shipments/receipts.
Now we have to remove "Require put away/Pick","Bin Mandatory","Directed Put-away and pick" and the zones for that location code (other locations remain like they are).
What is the easiest way to do it?
We were thinking about creating a new location, transferring the inventory of the old location to the new location and afterward renaming both locations. Problem is that in this way, the existing documents (sales orders, purchase orders, posted information will point to the old location and it should point to the new location.
Another idea was just to delete the warehouse pick put/away headers, zones and bins for that location but is that possible without sending Navision in tilt and which tables/fields must be deleted?

From my point of view the best way is to force the remotion of “Require receive/shipment/put away/Pick”
Ensure that all documents are posted. You don't need to remove the put/away/shipment documents, but for consistency you can delete then.
You don't have to delete those documents, for historical and legal reasons those documents should exist, or ensure that documents all are printed.
In the warehouse entries you can blank size, cubage, etc fields because it's filled only if have checked the Drect Put away and Pick.
Blank also the fields Zone Code, Bin Code in warehouse entry
Delete zone and and bin in the location. Bin content should be blank.
In item remove the warehouse class.0 -
Why do you want to create a new location ? If all warehouse documents are registered, run "Calculate Whse. Adjustment" in the Item Journal and post this to bring the item entries up to date with all internal warehouse movements. Afterwards, uncheck everything in the Location Setup except "Require Receive" and "Require Shipment".Kai Kowalewski0

We did similar things for a customer as well. They wanted to turn off WHM for one location.
What we did is to force turn off everything on the Warehouse tab on the Location card. Like what nunomaia said, make sure you have every open documents posted. You also have to delete all the Picks and Shipments (same for the receiving side).

EasyMag is a packet of the group I belong to (AIVE). And in Navision we have an add-on (not yet official) for EasyMag.Regards,Alain Krikilion
