does the navision database support incremental backup? I mean will the whole database (when changed) seen as one file or just the changes?

Navision supports ONLY full backups. No differential, incremental, transactional backups. If you need this, you need to use the SQL-option.
Navision does support single (1 or multiple) company-backups.Regards,Alain Krikilion

Navision Database Server has full backups. You can select which companies to include in the backup, but there is no differential backup in the Navision Database Server.
SQL Server does provide this, but through the Enterprise Manager/SQL Server Management Studio, not through the NAV client.0
