Hello,
I want to upgrade my database from Navision 2.60 to Navision 4SP1 Sql server.
The size of my database 2.60 is 7,6 Go.
To decrease the size of the database i used the process of compression of navision 2.60 but i earn only 1 Go.
the biggest table are:
- Item Ledger Entry = 1 526 032 ko
- Sales Shipment Line = 399 104 Ko
- Purch. Rcpt. Line = 302 576 ko
I search an other process witch decrease the size without alter the coherence of the database.
Can you help me

What is the reason you want to decrease the size for? Does the size cause problems?
7,6 G is not realy a big db.0 -
The size of database (7,6 Go) don't cause problems, but it request more time to upgrade.0

Hi! If the main purpose of your request is to reduce the time of time to spend on upgrading the database, you can optimize the tables and deactivate some of the secandary keys in the database.0
-
The data gets upgraded after you load 4.0 objects so you have to disable the keys in 4.0 not 2.x.0
