Hi does anyone have this problem? An error happens when we run the Cash Applied today. It' strange when we enter the posting date of today (09/01/06), the system pops up an error "the date is not valid". What caused this problem? Thanks in advance!

Hi expert! In the report CASH APPLIED, no code is done to the posting date. I spent some time trying to figure it out, but it desn't work either. We can retrive the data before 09/01/06. Why does it happen to this date September 1st. I really want to listen to your expert advice. Thanks!!!0

instead of typing in the date - type "T" to see what comes up.
most companies use the allow posting from & to dates located in the general ledger setup. check those too.0 -

IMHO, it will receive different error message and it will not pop-out on validating of date. It looks to me that the date format that you entering is not valid. Savatage is right, type "T" and that you will se a correct (for Navision) date format too.
If that date format is not normal in your area, then check regional settings on that computer.0 -
Hi expert, thanks for your response! Actually I checked everything and all are set up correctly. But I still can't retrieve the data of 09/01/06. If I filter 09/01/06 together with a particular customer, it wil retrieve the data for me, otherwise the error pops up. We posted some payment today and we can retrieve the data. Expert, any good suggestions to help us retrieve the data of 09/01/06. Thanks!0

Just to clarify...
You get the error When you enter that date or, when you run a batch with that date?
If it's second problem then you should activate debugger and see where it breaks in code (probably some date variable gets wrong date...).0 -
I forgot to reply early! Solved! Yes, I checked each line of code and found one variable is wrong. Thanks!0
