Hi Rooms, i would asked how to setting Microsoft NAV to follow perpetual inventory method according to Accounting Principal Book, please advise. Thanks in advanced.

perpetual by put a check in the automatic cost posting in the inventory set up on tab general.
In the accountancy introduction book that you can buy in gunung agung book store in Jakarta, you will find a bout perpetual to make it clear about it and based on the book, you may set your COA and posting group (inventory and general).
You must also put a check in the automatic cost adjustment to be always for item.
