Copying Company Information from one table to other

Dear All . Ia m trying to copy Company information from one database and pasting in another database , well it is not allowing me to do so giving an error that Company Information can't be pasted from other table.
Please help since all othet tables are being copied in same manner

Use setup checklist . The default functionality will copy company information and the basic setup required for initializing the DB.

Did you first make sure there are no records in the table you're copying into?

With the Company Information table, by default, it will insert a record with a blank primary key. Just delete it, then try Pasting again.

Hi All
Now i am trying to copy Excise posting set up from one company to other , it is not allowing that as well giving an error that You can't insert record from other table . I copied all records to excel but still it is trying to copy all recorde in first field of 1st row giving an error..

if table structure have changed you cannot copy and past. You cannot also copy from excel to navision.
