Access Hang when running query with NODBC

estherwuestherwu Member Posts: 18
Hi,

I have been using this MS Access query for a while. It worked just fine with CODBC, but now as we upgraded to Nav 4.0 and switched to NODBC. I have never able to finish this query successfully.

I was able to open the linked table in the Access database, but the query just doesn't work. I ran it, it just sits there, and then it will show 'No Response' in the status bar. And I checked the even log, has the error 'Application Hang' Error 1002.

Any one can help??? Please advise! Is there some kind of hotfix I can download? Thanks!

Have you tried it SP1 or SP2?

I tried SP1 NODBC first, and tried SP2 NODBC just today (but Nav client is still SP1). And when I used SP2 NODBC, I got the 'ODBC-Call Failed' error when tried to update the linked tables to the SP2 NODBC driver in my Access db.

And I have also tried rebuilding the access db from scratch, i.e. link tables using SP2 NODBC driver and then recreate the query. But I wasn't even able to link the Navision 4 tables using the SP2 NODBC driver. I got an error saying 'Driver's SQLsetconnectionAttr failed'...

    Please HELP! :?
