  In case you want a .zip-file, you must buy winzip so you can also use it with DOS-commands.
  Or you can download 7-zip http://www.7-zip.org. This has it's own format but can also create zip-files. And you can use it in DOS.
  So you create the file, and then launch the zip-program to zip the file.

  We were using the zipit component to compress the files, but recenlty we had to change the server and now this component dont work costraight.
  
  we are looking for other components that us of but security for possible changes in the future.
  
  Meanwhile we will prove the option that you indicate to me.

  Today I read something about powerarchiver http://www.powerarchiver.com/download/.
  But it is the first time I hear about it, so I don't know anything about this one.
  7-zip is good (I use this one in stead of winzip or winrar).
  If you test it, can you post your conclusions in this topic?

  Finally the customers choose the 7-zip solutions, and it works fine.
