Hi, i have changed the key in the table of the "New Vendor for supplier" and i also delete the testing records in the table, and it shows below message when i input the record in the field of No.

Delete the record then set the Key fields property to Not Blank, what is happening it is inserting a record with a blank Key, then trying to modify it.

You could also set the form to delayed Insert, if a blank field is allowed, this will then not update until you move the record pointer.
