MS project integration

Hi

I am trying to export data from Navision 3.7 to MS project with Automation.

When I try to add a global variable of type automation

'Microsoft Project 11.0 Object Library'.Application

I get an error

projectbeforeassignmentdelet is defined more then.....

Are the methods in the automation to long???

Is there a way to overcome that problem?

Hi,

I met the same issue and I decided to check the object by exporting it in .txt format. When I checked the file, I could see several events with very long names. According to me, these seem to be the reason of the error message we get cause the names are truncated by Navision.

Ex.:
ProjectBeforeAssignmentDelete, ProjectBeforeAssignmentChange, ProjectBeforeAssignmentNew, ProjectBeforeAssignmentDelete2 and ProjectBeforeAssignmentChange2 become ProjectBeforeAssignmen and so this is defined 5 times.

I cannot see what should be the solution to this problem. Maybe this may help you finding it cause I really need help for going further. ](*,)
