How to create an Interface between a 3rd party and navision

Hi All,

I want to create an interface between a 3rd party application which is going to generate a text file and navision. In the text file i do have some details of a Sales Invoice but not all. How should I proceed so that those details missing for a sales invoice to be posted in navision to be filled.

Should I populate those missing fields by programming in Navision or should I use NAS.... Please Help....

In this case if your third party toolis not generation all the required fields then it's not Navision fault , well to overcome this you have to either fill them manually or a little smart batch job could solve your purpose

Thanks for your suggestion..but from what I understand is that you mean we have to write program in Navision itself to be able to populate all these missing fields not obtained from the 3rd party application....

Plzzz frds..IS THERE ANY OTHER SOLUTION?????

Has anyone done any other application which act in the middle and populate all these missing fields in navision???
