Navision Server Service won't start

Critical problem with Navision database service following the installation of patch MS06040.
DETAILS
Customers running Navision database server on Win 2003 experience service down following the error message "Incorrect Function: error 1" after the latest Win 2003 updates.
Navision Server service, by default, takes all available memory during installation and after the installation of MS06-040 less memory is available, resulting in the service failing to start.
SOLUTION
The problem is solved by resetting cache parameter on Navision database service manually (or reinstalling the service).

Is there any solution to get back the total cache ? I explain : before intallation of the patch, we work with the maximum cache (1GB), now we could only restart the service with a cache of 940 Mb. Is there any solution to go back to the 1Gb ?
