I dont think this can be done, but I would just like to confirm with somebody

Is it possible to block a particular user from veiwing the comments in sales invoices?

    Sales comment are stored in table 44

    you can remove the premissions for that table for the user.
    You will probably have to find where this table is located in the standard premission groups and remove it from that group, then add it to a special group and only assign this new group to people you want to access sales comments.

    Another Option would require some development.

    I would add a field to the User Setup table called "Hide Sales Comments"

    in the On Open form of the sales Comment, check to see if the User has the User setup, if they do then Error onm opening the fom.
