Delete items in warehouse to start a production database ?

gbrauxgbraux Member Posts: 9
Hello,

I am running a test database used to maintain stock/warehouse informations (financial part of navision not used).

The test is now finished, and I am going to put it in production.
I'd like to keep the item list I created, but get ride of all articles placed in warehouse (as if I had an empty stock).

Is there a way to do it easily ?

Thanks,

Guillaume

what I would do is create a dataport to export the data you want to keep.

delete the company and create a new fresh company, then use the same dataport to bring the info back in.

Good Ideals from themave and Savatage! BTW, I think there shoule be lots of entries or something others that have already been created in your testing process. So I think the ideal from themave is recommended.

    Thanks for your answers,

I am quite new to navision and am not very familiar with the data model, so i don't realy know which data to export through the dataport ...

What I want is to detele all items transactions to make all my warehouse empty ... But i whant to keep the rest of the database data (items, warehouse, Serial N°, general database configuration ...).

    Thanks,

    Guillaume
