Receipt without a purchase order

Dear Experts

One major issue for which I need a solution immediately....

Can I create a receipt for an item without a Purchase Order?????
If yes how do I do it?? if no what is the solution for this??

Please need a solution ASAP

You can create a receipt for an item without a purchase order, by using the Item Journal.

PS: Generally speaking, we don't answer messages with "ASAP" and "I need an answer immediately", so think about this next time you ask something in this forum.

Use the purchase invoice and make sure you have the Receipt on Invoice checked on on the P&P setup.

Is it possible to import a GRN without PO through XMLPORT?
I can see a XML Port designed to work with Biztalk for importing in Inbound Purchase Receipt.

I too agree with Alex advise and if any tax/Excise is involved then it has to go to RG Register so PO is must.
