Be sure to choose the option "Custom" when installing. After that bu very sure to change the target path to something like this:

    C:\Program Files\Navision Attain\Client 3.60\

    Good luck!

Don't you have 3 choices when installing: Upgrade, Remove, New install?
Select the latest option, and you can select a new path for your Navision client.

    this worked:
copy 'client' folder from cd to a 3.60 folder and other to a 3.10 folder. then i made shortcuts to desktop from the .exe's.
    thanks,

I've done the oposite. I have installed 3.10 and 3.60 on diferent computers. I've copyed the client folder from one to another and shortcuted it from the desktop to the EXE's. Now everything's done.

The problem with navision's shortcuts is that they are dynamic. Simply delete them and create some new one's.

    Another little tip:

Your can have individual zup-files(usersettings) for each shortcut..

    1. Right-click on your shortcut and select properties
    2. in first textbox that points to the fin.exe add a parameter ID=Attain310A
    ie. "C:\Program files\Navision Attain 3.10 A\Client\fin.exe" id=Attain310A

the ID can be anything you like, just make sure it's "unique"

That way you don't have to point to a databasefile or server, each time you start the "other" shortcut...
