Dear All,
Is there anyway to book consumption after production order status has been changed to FINISHED. Navision gives only warning while finishing the production order which user overlooked and finished the production order. Output already have been booked for the same.
Any way out for this problem.
Regards

No way. THIS is why the you get a warning if you finish it before you posted all cons.
Don't try to change it. The whole costing engine would croak. There is reason why can'T you add more cons (and why your output is on zero cost before you finish it, post all material invoices and run adjust cost), it's not just by random.0 -
We do not use production orders, but we have a similar custom programmed feature, and when a user closes something that should not have been closed. He has to start a new order, use the prior closed order item in the production of the new order and add his additional items, you may be able to do this also. But I don't have license for production orders so I can not tell you for sure.
But in general this would be my approach to use the finished goods in a new production order made just for this purpose.0
