Navision in Italy?

Hi all!

I have a few questions regarding the deployment of Navision in Italy. I'm planning on gaining some experience abroad and are seeking information about:

1. Links and info about Navision in Italy
2. How is the market
3. Where can I find solution partners in Italy (have tried MS, but with no succes..)

I work both as a consultant and developper, got the certifications but just one year of experience.

    1. I don't know any links. We have a lot of legal localizations.

    2. I don't really know about this, I am not a salesperson.
    But I know that the economie has been bad lately, so neither companies, neither families have a lot of money. Maybe now (after a change of goverment) it will grow again. But I know that my company is searching new persons (functionals and technicals) all the time, but I don't know about the other companies in Italy.

    Now Kriki, what are your companys expectations when searching for a new employee? Is it a demand that the applicant can speak Italian or is English an accepted language? I'm ready to learn Italian, but would prefer learning it in Italy instead of a boring course held here in Denmark.

    Italian is a must, because there are not so much Italians that speak English.
    So, if you talk (or program for) Italian customers, you need to speak Italian.
    Also for "survival" outside of touristic places, you need to know Italian.

    The way I did it was first studying Italian in Belgium for 2 years. But I had a big edge (actually 2) on the other students: every few months, I went to Italy for some vacation or my girlfriend (now my wife) (and this is the second edge) came to Belgium for some vacation. The first year we comunicated in English and the second year I told her that I had a big enough vocabulary to comunicate with her in Italian.
    So when I arrived in Italy, I already knew quite some Italian, but only hearing and speaking Italian, I got better fast.
    BTW: remember that almost everything is dubbed on TV! For someone who is used to hear the original language with subtitles, this is horrible!
