Open C/SIDE reference guide (help menu, C/SIDE reference guide) and search for format. buried in there you will find tons of examples of how to use FORMAT to format a date string in any way that you want.

There's a difference between:

MyText := FORMAT(MyDate,0,'<Day,2>/<Month,2>/<Year>');

and:

MyText := FORMAT(MyDate,0,'<Year2> - <Month,2> - <Day,2>');
