Dear all experts,
I am longing for speaking french, to practice my knowledge in french. Do the forum members agree with my opinion especially who can speak french? so we can request to moderator to create a special forum but in french language only. I think it will be very nice..
Rgds,
Johnson

Take a look at this

The dutch forum on this site is not used very frequently. I prefer posting in english as this is the international programming language.0 -
Hi,
You are correct in your side but for me, but international language is not only english, but also french. French is no. 2. There are also some countries whose national language is french.

I speak french, but, as Mark said, I think it is more efficient to speack here in english, because it is also the "base" language of Navision (see the code and the variables ...).
I think also : If we create a special section for french speaking people (hello Paris, Quebec, Lausanne and certainly a lot of african friends), why not as spanish section or a chinese section (those languages are certainly number 2 and 3 at an internationnal level) ...0 -
I think the real solution would be to create an international forum, with one topic for each language.0

If I were you I would find a social forum in French and practice your language skills there. Of course there are people who have a hard time speaking English, but I believe it is beneficial to most of us to have these types of professional forums in English, at least as far as general topics are concerned. That way everybody can learn from it.0

I don't think so about what you wrote if it will againsts my proposal. What I actually want is communicating in French here with this forum member who his or her mother language is French or has hobbies to speak French.
I am not so sure what Miklos said but I think he agrees.
I think Moderator should consider my proposal. If it has been exists, I am sure there will be many members here especiall from French.

If anybody wants to practice his German talking about Navision, take a look here : http://www.msdynamics.deKai Kowalewski0

There are also many members who speak Chinese (Simple and traditional), certain kind of Indian, German, Italian, etc etc.
I think by creating language specific forums, we're segregating users by the language they speak. The consequences of segragation are many, but this is not a sociological class.
This is especially terrible if we create a Navision solution forum on a specific language, if someone who doesn't understand that language, they'll won't be able to get the answer they're looking for.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

I'm not opposed to a forum in a foreign language, as long as the topics are specific to that language. If the only reason to ask for a French forum is to practice your language skills, I don't think that this is the right place for that. In my opinion this forum is not for practicing languages.
For instance, I was born and raised in Holland. I do post in the Dutch forum here from time to time, but when I want to just speak Dutch I call a friend in Holland or I go to a Dutch forum.0 -

Dear All,
This statement are really wonderful to me:If anybody wants to practice his German talking about Navision, take a look here : www.msdynamics.de
So that is actually what I mean because, everyone will love his or her mama language. I think most of this forum member will agree and especially french. They will interesting to use navision
but this statement are really illogical:For instance, I was born and raised in Holland. I do post in the Dutch forum here from time to time, but when I want to just speak Dutch I call a friend in Holland or I go to a Dutch forum.
