The RIM documentation says under "The Process": "The tool is available on the Navigation Pane" (Application Setup -> General -> Setup Master Templates and Application Setup -> Company Setup).
When I install RIM_ApplicationObjects.fob, no modification to the menu suite will be made, so the mentioned menu items are not there.
Step 2 of the documentation tells that after creating the new company "the Company Setup window opens". RIM_ApplicationObjects.fob contains no form/code modifications to the create company dialog. In consequence the window will not be opened.
And the documentation says "The XML file can be opened by the user in Excel" but if I open the XML file it does not make any sense to me.
Am I too stupid to understand that documentation or is something missing?

Company Setup is part of standard navision. I believe they've added in the company setup form, under function a new option or overwritten to old RIM.
step 2. Just open the Company setup form.
When you open the xml document in internet explorer. Righ click on the document and you should have an option to export it to excel.0 -
Yes, the menu is not changed, it is known issue...
The Company setup window is form 8622. Run it, select template and it will setup your company...0 -
Hi,
Even after importing RIM_applicationObjects I m unable to view the RIM templates. Even the form 8622 mentioned in your mail is missing. Please guide and also if possible please send the object file form 8622.
