Fixed Asset Transfer from one location to another

Hi,

I want to transfer one Fixed Asset from one location to another within the same company.

I am not able to locate the transaction anywhere. Can someone help me out please ?

I have already seen the Lending Transaction but that does not suffice my requirement.

    Can't this be done the same as a for inventory - by using the item transfer journal?

    Hi Ciprian,

    The Issue is that in case of item transfers, we do not have the facility of buidling up the values to a Fixed Asset.

    If you notice you will find that at the time of Purchase, Axapta provides you the facility to book the cost into a FA but it does not do the same in Item Transfer Journals.

    Secondly, in the Indian local context, we have a tax called Excise which needs to be transferred along with the FA when it is moved from one warehouse to another.

    So we actually cannot use the Stock Transfer Journals for this purpose.
