CFRONT Open Company

I would want to select a company from a list in a VB.NET application. Using C/FRONT, I connect to the server and database. Isn't it possible to retreive a list op all companies in that database? Can anyone help me with this? :oops:

    use table company (2000000006) to get the list
    i think you can use this table without opening any company.
    cannot say about your license or user permissions.

    Right. Shame on me! Why didn't I try this before I posted my question??

    I thought it wasn't possible to open a table when I didn't open a company.
