Hi,
I read some of postings about Navision with SQL option configuration and I have no conclusion for large installations.
Even on Navision suggested harware guides are many options I'm not sure the server (s) will manage such an installation with 120 concurential users and number growing.
As I know 60-90 of 120 users will be on TS others will be on LAN.
Any suggestions for this kind of installation ? My largest are at 45 users, so it can be difficult with such volume.
Thanks

I would probably look into putting everybody on Citrix, including internal people.0

Can anyone share his experience of handling more then 50 concurrent users with Navision? Please describe a general architecture of such a solution.Nil desperandum0

It seems that such experiences are not shareable but this should be really helpfull.
I read somewhere that big companies pay experthises to detect the optimal architecture with hundred users. The results are not free for others.0 -
If you are MS Partner and you have access to Microsoft pre-sales support, you can try ask them about such a configuration...0

Once I had 80 users - all of them was connecting through Terminal Services with the really important thing is that it's a different box from the Navision Server and everything was fine.
As for the HW, I don't remember the exact details of the terminal server but I remember that is was about as a good iron as the average gamer's box in 2004 - 512MB RAM, 3Ghz hyper-threading proc etc. - so not something big and expensive.
Do It Yourself is they key. Standard code might work - your code surely works.0 -
again if you are partner you can find a new guide in partnersource:
