Dear Experts

Can anyone let me know if I can make sales forecast for future with the historical data on sales for a particular season in navision??
I would want to forecast my sales to purchase and process my raw materials so that i can meet my forecasted demand.

If yes how do I do that? Where can I find.

Dear Shilpa,
You could set forecast name for every sales forecasts you've made either yearly, monthly or weekly and use it as a historical data. When you createn sales order, you can use it by using planning worksheet and on the option tab, select sales forecast name you've made.

Anytime. if you are interested in new forecast type but built on forecast in navision, I've made based on one of company here (food company), you can send me pm, and maybe need some USD to send it to you. It can be posted to ledger and so on. I also add some field on machine center and can be posted to ledger too, it relates to Lean TPM.
