Certifing a Production BOM

Is there any way to speed up the process of certifing a BOM for 3.7?
It can take up to 30 mins. Is this normal? This database is on SQL Server.

    Probably you have field "Dynamic Low-Level Code"=Yes in the Manufacturing setup. Check out the help on the field for more info.
