How do I make item reserve for "New" order

Hello,

For item reserve, so far as I know, we can make reserve for sales order, purchase order and transfer order. How can I create item reserve for other order? Does anyone create this function? Any hint? Thanks.

I think if you create two sales order of one item for example, but the shipment date is different, I think you should select optional or always in the reserve field either in item card of the item or in the customer cards.

Hello,

What I mean is, can I extend the item reserve to other transaction? Like item journal, BOM journal.

User will create transaction. But they do not post it immediately. So they want to reserved the goods for the order for future to post.

If you use item journal or BOM journal, I think there won't be any reservation. You could see table # 337 if you want to know more about it.
