What really comprises the navision sp1? is it an fob file or is there an appropriate executable for this to be upgraded in navision 4.0?

Hello again,
I already have a Navision 4.0 SP1 product installer and NA400SP1Objects.fob. I already installed the 4.0 SP1 installer, but when i tried to import the NA400SP1Objects.fob, Same error still occurs. Do i still need to import the fob after I installed the 4.0 SP1 full installation?
Also, I also noticed that the Navision 4.0 SP1 product installer i have does not create a database.fdb and Sql option database upon fresh installation. So i still need to install a previous version (Nav 4), then uninstall it but leaving the database files, then install 4.0 SP1.
Am i doing the right thing here? thanks0 -
I ran into this today.
'CFR' is a a field in the 14000 range on tables 36 & 38 (maybe more). The 14000 range is the Mexico localization. It would appear that you are attempting to import FOBs from a US/Canada SP1 into a US/Canada/Mexico PreSP1.There are no bugs - only undocumented features.0 -

Yeah I remmember that as well. I think the way I fixed it was just design the form and delete those fields from the Form.0 -
Thanks for the tips. \:D/
By the way, do i also need to upgrade my current license used in Navision 4.0 to Navision 4.0 SP1?? Will it not work when I use the license in SP1?
Also, I noticed that the Navision 4.0 SP1 product installer i have does not create a database.fdb and Sql option database upon fresh installation. Is this true for all product executable of Nav 4.0 SP1??

Yes you need a new license. The reason is that they've added new tables Standard journal, and Employee portal, and you'll run into problems when you try to create new company.
My guess on the installation isssue, It's probably disabbled by default. Select manual installation and you can tick what you want to install and what you don't want to install.0
