    Hi,
as far as I know, you can utilize biztalk where microsoft has released microsft biztalk server 2006, where the biztalk is used as a communication means between two or more differents systems. It utilizes microsoft Visual Studio 2005. business process management with biztalk server 2006 consists of :
message -> receive port -XML -- receive pipeline (host) --> message box persistent store --> (business rules inference) engine (orchestration) [host] --> message box persistent store --> host (send pipeline) [message] -- send port -->
new biztalk adapter : peoplesoft, JD Edwards Enterprise1, SAP, etc...
We put the biztalk server 2006 in SQL server 2005 and also using visual studio 2005. So I think with biztalk, we can communicate with SAP, Baan, etc..
Maybe it can give a help to you to know what system used in the integration.

    regards,
    Johnson Alonso

There are also reporting tools that have their own database and collect data from several subsystems.

This way you don;t need to realy integrate the erp systems.

It always depends on how extensive your integration needs to be doesn't it. If you only need to have a monthly consolidation of sales volumes then a simply dataport could do. If you need detailed real-time transaction sharing, then you could think about a biztalk solution. Then there are plenty of things in the middle.

If you tell us what it is that you need to integrate, we could give you some ideas.
