Navision 2.50 Server Install

My customer just purchased a new server they are going to dedicate Navision 2.50 to. Their database now has 2 FDBs. When the server was installed, the customer specified the first FBD as queried by the Navision server installation. The Navision server was installed just fine and it started. When connecting a client, Navision indicates that the second FDB cannot be found in the old path that the second FDB was stored. (Of course, it's not there because it has been moved to the new box having a different path.) Both FDBs are in the same folder in the new box. Does anyone have any idea how a client can connect to the new server?

You have stop the server. go to c prompt find where the server is installed. and have to start the server with the correct paramaters.
I can't remember the exact. but it start
server.exe installaservices database=database1.fdb,database2.fdb, cache= 80000, This will reset the header on first db where the 2nd db is.0 -
Or you can just start Navision and open the database locally with the following parameters:
fin.exe database=c:\database_1.fdb+c:\database_2.fdb
A 3rd option is just to create a new database and do a backup and restore.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
