Custom Toolbar

I don't know how feasible this is, but I am wondering if it is possible to add a custom toolbar, or better yet, add new buttons to the existing Navision Toolbar?
I realize that the following functions can be accessed through Keyboard Shortcuts or other means, but I'd like to add things as simple as a Refresh Button or a Debugger On/Off Toggle, all the way to triggering Custom Functions.
Thank you.

No possible through C/AL, but may be that some external automation can hook on this window and insert something there...0

I thought that may be the case.
Thanks again.0 -

Ahh..I guess this procedure was introduced somewhere in 2003. This means that older downloads, don't have a topic in the Download section of the forum.0

Sweet. I'll check that out.

what i have done (though it is quite complex) is create a VB DLL with some window functions.
With this system i put a normal navision form outside of the MDI client window and put this on top like a toolbar.
Also i resized the MDI client to a bit smaller so this specific 'bar-type' form is always visible even when other navision forms are maximized. The other forms just remain below the 'bar-type' form.
I don't have time to publish all the needed code (the code is part of a bigger project) but i can give a hint: (if you don't know VB and windows API's dont even bother.
- use SetParent to change the parent of a navision form to the main navision form (instead of the MDI client).
- use other window API's to resize client
- use window hooks to capture resize events of the MDI client, when navision is resized. You must know this because otherwise navision will overrule your previsous sizing instructions.
I have it running, but it is a lot of work.In a world without Borders or Fences, who needs Windows and Gates?0 -
Yes, I use VB and API's quite frequently.
I thought that this would be the only way to do what I want to achieve.
I am sure this will be too much work for the benefit I will personally receive.
I will attempt to use the Toolbar v2 suggestion from Savatage.
It should work well enough for my needs.
Thank you all for your suggestions.0
