automate printing of tiff files

I need to automate the printing of tif files (after a report is printed). Does anyone know of the best way to do this?

Some wild ideas you can try:
With automation you can control a program that opens a tiff, and prints it.
With some programs, you can open a file and automatically print it through the use of command-prompt parameters.

I had thought about using automation control to insert the tiff file into word and print from there. It seems a bit of a clunky solution.

Can you recommend an application that I can print tiffs using either automation or a command line?

Actually I was thinking about word too. I don't have experience with printing tiff-files. Maybe if you google, you might find something better. But in general:everyone has word, so you don't have to think about the fact to install some program on every computer or put it on the LAN so every client can use it.

anyway...I have done something similar with our item pictures.

What I have done is use PixResizer (http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm) **FREE**
with a click of a button it converts every tiff or Jpg or any pic file into any other file type & resize it too if you had too.

So I changed about 1000 jpg's into BMP's (takes about 10-15 seconds).

Every Pic is named it's item # and save in a mapped drive (call it P for Picutres). I created a report to import the bmp's into a Navision Blob (Item.Picture) but i could have been anything. Which then can be printed at will on reports or shown in forms.
