Average Cost of Item becomes zero

Why is it sometimes when we do an SO (say for instance the item has Base UOM pc, Sales UOM is pc) using the BOX unit of measure, after posting, the average cost becomes zero.

Any idea will highly be appreciated!

    Is your inventory for that item zero ?

    bcoz if zero, the average cost bcomes zero too.
