Manufacturing certification MBS Navision 4.0

Hi,

I'm going to pass the manufacturing certification exam, and I have not any training manual to prepare it, because we don't find no one in version 4.0. Do you know if there is something that could help us to prepare the exam? and where can we find it?

Hi, ana.

I've passed NA 40-224 Navision 4.0 Manufacturing test in feb'05.

There was a big help in materials for 3.60 version
and from webcasts, that involve some new features (prod.journal, navigation pane, production scheduling, business notifications, some changes on Item card...).

Most of the questions were similar to old one in exam W1 02-010.

Areas were:

Setup
Production BOM's
Capacities & Shop Loading
Prod.Orders
Sales, Forecasting and Planning
Subcontracting & additional topics

I am studying Manufacturing II, I could not replicate the result of the Chapter 2 Forecast and MPS - Test Your Skills − 2.1 Forecast and MPS. I sure that I follow exactly the Answer. Do I have to setup anythingelse ?

Dear friend,
To use MPS and forecast like in Navision manufacturing, you must set forecast in mfg set up, don't check calculate MPS/MRP field in the manufacturing set up and when calculate regenerative plan, you must uncheck MRP field.
