I have my information mixed up. l need to get a client from Nav 3.6 to 4.0.1. I understand 4.0.1 has to be installed, like you are installing the client for the first time. Now my question.
1) To upgrade to 4.0.1 from 3.6, do l need the 4.0.1 objects, or l use the 4.0 objects.
l am using SQL option.
NB. l dont want to upgrade to 4.0 and then start applying SP 1, that will be time consuming.
Regards

Of course, you can make the upgrade directly to 4.0.1. Read the 4.0.1 upgrade documentation how to do that. There are some new forms etc. for doing the upgrade.0
