Responsibility centers???

Dear Experts

What are the the various responsbility centres a Textile or a spinning Mill can have?

Pls help.......

    That sounds more a question that is company-dependant. I think it depends on how a company works.

    Responsibility centers are not something that is set in stone. It is a very versatile granule that can be used many different ways.

    You may want it to represent physical store locations. so each branch office only sees things related to their locations.

    you may want it to be representative of salesman, so you can assign a your sales to be responsible for certain things. like customers and items.

    you can use it for a production environment to represent areas of production.

    the basic thing it does is help to set some defaults and to set filters so users see certain things. So, you figure out what you are trying to accomplish and then design your responsibility centers around that.

    I think he as is asking for it for a demo. I think just go ahead and ask them - they will be happy that you care about them even pre-sales too.
    Do It Yourself is they key. Standard code might work - your code surely works.
