Hi ,
MS provide three company accounts in axapta for free.
And when the ax system is installed, the "DAT"(Company accounts data) existed as default. But this account can't be deleted.(System will show the message "default company account")
So, it seems that the "DAT" company contains some special info.
My question is:
As our customer , how to give a 100% usage to this company?
Suggestion from M$ is : three free companies, one for training, one for company and the last as the counterpart for testing.
So, is there anybody give me a suggestion for the position of "DAT"? testing?

but i thought if you were to use the dat company as test, in case the test data is corrupted, which is possible when you do testing, you won't be able to delete that company. it would be better to use it as live or production company rather than test, or better if you can affort, don't use it.
for testing you can setup a separate environment altogether for the purpose, but of cause legally it is not right i think.
