Problem with database.

Hello all,
Maybe I made most basic mistake ever. I opened my database 4.0 with client 4.0 SP1, without making any backup of database 4.0. For question if I want to update to SP1 I said yes. Everything looked ok, until now. I realize that I didn't do merging of the object from 4.0 to 4.0SP1, and propably it couses problem with permission to table during posting document. Now I have to face the process of upgrading my objects to SP1 (I hope this is not too late [-o< ). Please give me some hint how to make this update to SP1.
This is my first merging of object, so treat me like a newbie.
Best regards

Strange, it shouldn't give problems.
The only problem you can face is that you can't open it anymore with a non-SP1 4.00.
Opening a DB with a newer version, only changes some technology-'setup' in the DB. So nothing in the data or objects. (at least that is what I think).
In case I am wrong with that, you can try to make a full backup and restore it in a non-SP1 4.00.
This all in case you haven't the possibility to upgrade to SP1. If you can upgrade, it is better.
Don't be so hard on our newbies. Remember the days you were oneSavatage wrote:JTPro wrote:I opened my database 4.0 with client 4.0 SP1, without making any backup of database 4.0.

It wasn't ment to be hard - but before trying anthing "NEW" it's always a given to have a copy before you start "Just In Case" something doesn't go as planned. You'll be glad you did. O:)0

I know that I did mistake, but know I would like to make my system works fine. Is there any manual, that says how to marge database object 4.0 to 4.0 SP1. How to do this?
The problem is with permissions to table. When I use my client's license with demo database SP1, everything seems to be good.
Please, give me any advice.
