NAS running under LOCAL user account

Hi.
I've got question. how can i set up NAS (classic) service? I need to run it with local user account.
I created new local user account on my workstation, granted Administrator privilleges for it. Then I started to edit NAS service properties; On login page I typed user name (computer\NAS_test) and its password. I got message "Nas_test was granted to run service". Then I started NAS service but I got error message - service was not started because service failed to login.
What shall I setup?

Of course, because you need to add this account into the Navision to grant login to Navision... into Windows logins you need to add this account and grant the super role to this account...
One thing is to start the service, second one is to be able to login into Navision under this account... ;-)0 -
So to elabprate just a little.. NAS is nothing more than a Navision client running as a service. The user that you set up as the user running the NAS must have privileges inside Navision.
Inside Navision, you will have to add Computer\NAS_test as a Windows user, and give it permissions to do what you need the NAS to do. Then, you can restart the NAS Service and see what happens.0 -
Just to be a hair-splitter:DenSter wrote:So to elabprate just a little.. NAS is nothing more than a Navision client running as a service.
NAS is nothing more than a Navision client
without user-interface
running as a service. Regards,Alain Krikilion

Just to be an even bigger hairsplitter... is there any other type of service?
