Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem with pictures in navision, i'm sure a lot of you have come across this problem , however i was wondering if anybody has done some work on attaching an external jpeg image to a report and saving it as a pdf, for internal pictures, i have no problem i can create a pdf from any report in navision using adobe distiller, but i can't figure out if i can fetch an external image and insert it in the pdf file instead of the bitmap navision uses, and in this case the position of the image is important in the pdf since there is information attached to each and every image.
Thanks

navions uses BMP.
1)you can just convert your pic
2)you can create your own pic table where you can import all your "misc" pics as blobs
3)you can get this: http://www.mibuso.com/dl.asp?FileID=51&Type=productBitmap
Use this property to select a bitmap to use for a label, command button, menu button, check box, or option button
Applies to
Labels, command buttons, menu buttons, check boxes, option buttons.
Settings
Enter the filename of the bitmap you want to use, for example c:\pictures\thisone.bmp.
There are 44 predefined bitmaps in the system. They can be chosen by entering a number from 1 to 44. They are the bitmaps that are used at various places in the system.
Comments
The bitmap is actually imported into the system. This means that if you change the bitmap, you will have reimport it, in order to update the version that is used. You can do this by reentering the Value of this property.
The maximum size of a bitmap is 32 KB. To use larger bitmaps than this, you will have to use a BLOB field.
