sorry for my indefinite question.
We use Navision 4.0 and I want to manufactor a "Released Production Order" (Source Type: "Sales Header").
I don't know why Navision doesn't post the Scrap Quantity.
I wrote a number into the column „Scrap Quantity“ on the „Production Journal“ –Form.
But this number of Scrap Quantity doesn’t be posted, when I choose “Posting” -> “Post” on this Form.
But it posts the whole amount of all components for the whole Order although the "Output" is not completed for this whole Production Order.
How can I get it post the correct amount of Items that we really used for the current Output??0 -
Does it mean:
Output 10, Scrap 3
in this case 10 items are on the location (item ledger entry for 10 of quantity)
and 3 are posted only into Capacity ledger entry (no item ledger entry created)
After that, you have problem with consumption? In this case, Navision will consume parts for 13 pieces... and it is correct - you "created" 13 pieces, but 3 of them are scrap and you throw them away...
I think it is standard behavior...0 -
I mean:
First Case:
Order 15
Output 10
Scrap 3
item ledger entry = 10 (ok)
consumption of components = 15 (why that??)
Second Case:
Order 15
Output 15
Scrap 3
item ledger entry = 15 (ok)
consumption of components = 15 (it has to be 18 because Scrap!!!!)0 -
Ok, which method of consumption (Flushing method on the Item card) you are using?0
-
Hello kine, hello everbody!
I tried with every combinations of Flushing methods (on the “Item Card”, “Stockkeeping Unit Card” and “Work Center Card”).
But I have no idea why the number of consumption is always the consumption for the whole Order without Scraps.
First Case:
Order 15
Output 10
Scrap 3
item ledger entry = 10 (ok)
consumption of components = 15 (why that??)
Second Case:
Order 15
Output 15
Scrap 3
item ledger entry = 15 (ok)
consumption of components = 15 (it has to be 18 because Scrap!!!!)
Could it be the reason that I use the Production Journal for posting the Outputs and on that same Journal I also have to put the “Consumption Quantity” manually?0 -
I asked my co-workers and they are solving same problem right now. It seems, that it is a bug in Navision 4.00 because in older versions it worked.0
