Illegal operation II

Hi there!!
I have the same problem :
http://www.mibuso.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7913
But with three differences :
1.- It is a WinXP platform.
2.- Very high frequency. Printing always produces Illegal Operation.
3.- The field "Main menu id" (Users setup) is filled and it's working correctly.
I tried to delete Zup file. Changing PC doesn't work (it isn't a hardware problem). Reinstalling printer driver doesn't work.
Yesterday I delete the "Main menu id" and the problem dissapeared.
How can I solve this question?
Thanks and sorry my English.
Marc

Is there any customisation done in this part of Navision?
Maybe some loop that never ends?
Have you tried debugging?
Is there a strange flowfield/tablerelation?

Yes, there is some customisation, but nothing "strange".
Never ending loop? Nooooooo hehe I know something about Navision programming.
Yes, I tried to debug. The illegal operation appears when you press "Print" button or "Preview" button.
No strange flowfield/tablerelation.
There are a lot of users with the same setup, but only one user crashes when print.

Anything strange in the Printer Selection table?
Or function FindPrinter in CU 1?
Sorry for questioning your navision programming :oops:0 -
Printer selection table is standard : NAVW13.01.01,NAVES3.10.01
CodeUnit 1 has some modifications, but nothing in FindPrinter function.
I try to translate the error that appears in event panel :
Event Type: Error
Event source: Application Error

About questioning my Navision experience ... it doesn't matter. I understand it's very important to know if I'm a noob or not.
It's my first post ... and it's great don't you think?0 -
Sorry, I was not asking for customisations in the printer selection.
I'm just wondering if there is a printer installed for this user that might couse your problems.0 -
Oooops I misundestood you!
The table has some records like this :
User Report Report Name Printer Name
50007 Contrato por fax Zetafax Printer,Ne00:
50019 Albarán transf. Zetafax Printer,Ne00:
PATRICIA 0 Brother Tarragona,Ne04:
More clues :
I restored a backup. Restored database doesn't crash and that user can work without any error. :-s
I restarted Navision Server also. ](*,)
Thanks

Hi Marc,
Perhaps it has something to do with the NE numbers. I know that there was a download in the download section to get the correct printer. If you can't find it I still have it somewhere on my pc.

Sorry, I take some holidays.
When I return to work the problem has been solved "itself" :-s
I wish it's not only temporary.
Thanks to all0 -
