Why some extensions marked _exclude_?

I received request to add few custom fields to the "Bank Deposits" sub form and ledgers.
When try to extend, I couldn't find the Bank Deposits objects initially. Then I found them under namespace "Microsoft.Bank.Deposit' or "Microsoft_Exclude_Bank Deposits_23.1.13431.13812.app" and extended them after adding "dependency". All working well.

Now, I couldn't find a good reference to know WHY this is marked as _Exclude_? Will there be any issues in extending them?

Please help me to understand this type of extensions.

    When you open Extension managepage page i BC client in have a filter to not show app with "_Exclude_" in page:

    It is just to make it a bit harder for users to remove extension that are not strictly need but serves a purpose for BC.

    Microsoft have previous stated that the at some point they want to change this, and does not allow other appsource apps to use the Exclude tag in the name.

    So there should not be a problem with extending them
    For help, do not use PM, use forum instead, perhaps other people have the same question, or better answers.
