Hi,
Can anyone explain to me what the Trans. Sales Entry Status table is used for in LS Retail? I am trying to understand why there would be entries in this table but not in the Trans. Sales Entry table?
Thank you.

hello Claire
The "trans sales entry status" table is used during statement calculation.
The reason why the table exists is because of the following:
The trans sales entry table is being replicated from store. So if in Head Quarters (HQ) you were to modify the status of lets say it was posted, the replication could overwrite that change since the store doesn't have the information.
So LS created a separate table where they are keeping track of the status of trans sales entry. Such as it has been calculated. It's missing lines, total amount, quantity, lot/serial. Etc.1

Hi Ara3n - I have another interesting question for you on the Trans Sales Entry Status table and that is:
under what circumstances will this table not be populated with the transaction?
So I can see the transaction in the POS Transaction Register and I can also see it in the HQ Transaction Register but when I try and calculate the statement, it errors and there is no entry in the Status table for a few of the transaction numbers.0 -
what is the error?0

There is no error. When you click the Calculate Statement button, it runs through very quickly then ends. There are no warnings or errors and no lines are populated on the statement. You can drill down on the unposted sales and see them though but if you click on Transactions, there is nothing.0

If you have enabled cash management, The store needs to close the day so that the transaction Header has a closing record, then the calc statement will calculate the sales.
