Modify procedure

in NAV Three Tier
Hello, still a newbie here with the AL.
I have a procedure I want to modify, just add a block of new code in it, how can I do that?
I see no option/property for it?

    In general you cannot modify third party code anymore. You need to find a suitable event trigger. Then implement the event handler.

    If there is no suitable event trigger, you should contact the company responsible for the code and request one.

    I don't get the problem, if you can see the code you should be able to modify with the right license.
