Of Navision Server to SQL Server
I am working with Navision 4.0.
I have a native BD Navision Server and have to happen to Navision with the option SQL Server, with what I must convert my native BD to SQL Server.
Of what form this conversion is realized? There is some tool that does it?
I think that...
To turn her only it is necessary to extract a bkup in the native one, and restore it in the BBDD that you have created in the SQL and modify a few RecordsLevelLockings that were documented...
But...
Not as doing it ... someone might explain it to me stepwise...

Pasar de Navision Server a SQL server
1. Hacer un backup de la base de datos de navision server.
Herramientas -> copia de seguridad. (database.fbk)
2. Cerrar navision y abrir finsql.exe (está en el directorio de Navision\Client).
3. Crear una base de datos nueva.
Archivo -> Base de datos -> Nueva
4. Cuando esté creada, restaurar con el backup que nos hemos creado. (database.fbk)
5. Ya está creada la nueva base de datos en SQL server con los datos de Naviosion Server.0 -

2) eli.vidal: You are not writing about migration toolkit you need to use, to be sure that you have no date fields containing wrong date for MS SQL (older than 1.1.1753)0
