I am trying to print an invoice in landscape, but it only prints in portrait

Using Nav2017, tried printing to several different printers, all print in portrait. change the settings on the printer to only print in landscape, still prints invoice in portrait. tried from desktop computer using windows 7, laptop using windows 10, etc. Can print to a PDF, this works fine...Landscape, directly to the printer...Portrait

The report orientation is controller by the report properties. You will need to open the report object and then navigate to report builder or other layout utility. You can then set the orientation to Landscape for the required report.

But....if that is true.....why does it work when I print to a PDF, yet it will not work when printing directly to the printer ?

Printer will have the same sort of input as you have in Print Preview.

Hey @dmcnulty33 what am saying is, Make the orientation as landscape from Visual studio and then execute the Report and do it Preview, don't print it, The view that you will have on your screen the same orientation you will get while Printing.
